Known as the Charles & Annie Quinlan House, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It occupies one prime acre on Main Street, on the high point in town, 400 yards from the town center.  The building was completely rewired and fully restored with all new bathrooms in 1996.  The house has six air conditioned bedrooms each with a private bathroom, five are currently operated as guest rooms, two of them have small sitting rooms.  There are two Jacuzzi whirlpool baths, and four fireplaces.  There is a steam radiator central heating system which has also been fully restored and with a new boiler in 2000.  The house sits back from the roadway and is served by a long curving driveway and ample parking.  The one acre yard is populated with mature Sugar Maples, Walnut, Hemlocks, Blue Spruce, Cherry and an American Holly tree.  The gardens contain some ancient Box bushes each over 75 years old, as well as Rhododendron, Azalea and Rose bushes, they have been carefully planted with spring bulbs as well as perennial Gladioli, Dahlia, Hollyhock, Peonies, Foxglove and several other varieties of flower.  There is a massive front porch, facing the morning sunshine with at least six rocking chairs.
